At the heart of cultural education The joy of being part of it Learning through making AMPHION

For Amphion, a theatre and cultural institution in the Netherlands, I photographed their wide range of disciplines, workshops, and cultural activities. In addition, I created portraits of their lead teachers, particularly within the CMK (Cultuureducatie met Kwaliteit) program. For these portraits, I deliberately moved away from static headshots, opting for a spontaneous, process-driven approach that mirrors the trial-and-error and co-creation at the heart of their innovative practice.
The resulting photography highlights both the diversity of Amphion’s cultural offerings and the people who bring them to life.
